My grandma taught me a few years back about journaling to the Lord. She told me how it helps to train us to focus in when trying to hear the voice of God. She showed me how during her quiet time with the Lord she would journal her prayers/conversations to the Him, instead of praying them out loud or in her head. And then, she would sit in the quiet and diligently listen for the Lord’s response. As she heard Him speak to her heart she would write what she felt He was saying to her.
